Are safety switches required?
Australian wiring rules require safety switch (RCD) protection on circuits in new electrical work. For older homes without them, adding RCDs is one of the most effective safety upgrades you can make.
Can I do small electrical jobs myself?
In NSW, electrical wiring work must be done by a licensed electrician. DIY wiring is illegal and can void insurance. Changing a light globe is fine, but anything that's wired in needs a licensed sparky.
Do you install appliances?
Yes: cooktops, ovens, stoves, rangehoods and dishwashers, plus ceiling and exhaust fans and hot water electrical repairs.
